Delhi Agra Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary Tours

- 1 : DelhiUpon arrival at intenational airport delhi, meet, assist on arrival in Delhi in the evening and transfer to your pre booked hotel. Check in followed by transfer of baggage to the rooms. Overnight stay will be at the hotel Day - 2 : Delhi Sightseeing Tours This morning you will take a tour of the capital city of New Delhi where you will visit the Qutab Minar, India Gate and the President's Palace. The city is built in a typically British colonial style with tree-lined avenues, colonial bungalows, the Parliament House, the War Memorial Arch and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India. Then, go down to Old Delhi to visit the Jama Masjid and the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. You will drive past the Red Fort for a photograph opportunity. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon. After lunch you will proceed for newly constructed Akshardham temple. Overnight at the hotel. Day - 3 : Agra ( Taj Mahal City ) Start for Agra early in the morning after breakfast enrouting SIKANDARA and check-in at hotel in Agra. AGRA: Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {seat of the Emperor}. Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughals still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mughal heritage most conspicuously. A walk down the narrow bustling streets of the city will introduce the visitor to the wafting aroma of Mughlai cuisine. TAJ MAHAL: Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Proceed for visit to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmadullah's Tomb with English speaking guide. Enjoy battery van ride. Return to hotel and relax in the evening. Overnight will be at Agra. ![]() Day - 4 : Agra - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary After early breakfast drive from Agra to Bharatpur . Enjoy your full day visit inside the Park. You can also opt for taking cycle-rickshaws, bicycles or go punting for visits to the Keoladeo National Park. Overnight stay at the hotel Day 5 : Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary - Jaipur / Delhi - Onward Destinations After breakfast drive to Delhi / Jaipur for your scheduled journey. |
